Keri
Simpson-Martindale started riding Arabians in the 80's after growing
up with horses. She then acquired her first show horse,
a little Bask-bred broodmare, and made her debut in
Regions 12 and 15, showing through her junior rider
years. She won in Western Horsemanship, Equitation and
Western Pleasure.
After moving out of the
Junior rider division, Keri attended college
in Illinois where she gained 2 associate degrees in
Equestrian Science and Horse Science Technology. After
graduating, she went on to work with many top trainers
in multiple disciplines including jumping, dressage,
reining, halter, hunter pleasure and trail.
Through all these experiences
and learning, she gained vast skill and knowledge allowing
her to open a facility.
In 1994 she started Hidden
Hollow Stables and Training, in Dunlap, just a few miles
away from Peoria, Illinois. 85 beautiful acres are the
perfect setting for training, boarding and trail riding.
Keri now dedicates her vast knowledge to her customers,
who vary from Pleasure to Competition Riders.
With a diverse group of
both youth and amateurs, their common goal is to produce
winning teams, keeping a constant
focus on balancing riding pleasure and competition excellence.
